PhoneArena has run a blind comparison poll between some major smartphones with supposed good cameras last week, and delivered the results this week.

imageFor the test the shot several scenes using a HTC One, LG G2, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Nokia Lumia 1020.

All photos were resized to 13 megapixels and all EXIF data removed.  Readers were then asked to vote for the unnamed camera with the best-looking pictures.

After more than 5000 votes the results were rather clear.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 won by a long shot, taking more than 62% of the votes, showing Nokia has finally found a way  not just to take technically good pictures, but also those the public find appealing.

Next was the Samsung Galaxy S4 with 20.9%, followed by the iPhone 5c with 11.4%.

The iPhone 5c appears objectively to produce unattractive pictures, and the same can be said for the HTC One and the LG G2, suggesting those who want their pictures to look good to most people should probably stay away from the devices.

Can our readers guess which Phone above is the Nokia Lumia 1020? Answer after the break.

Phone 5 was of course the Nokia Lumia 1020.
