Nokia Lumia 1020 demo units now showing up in AT&T stores

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is only expected to hit shelves on the 26th, but it seems very soon eager fans will at least be able to play with demo units, as an AT&T employee has posted on Reddit that demonstration devices have now arrived in store.

The 41 megapixel Nokia Lumia 1020 will retail for $299 with a two year contract, and $659 commitment-free.  This may seem pricy, but it is still $100 less than the 32 GB iPhone 5, which of course only has a puny 8 megapixel shooter.

Pre-orders for the handset has already opened at AT&T and can be accessed here.
