GSMArena reports Nokia is launching its Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 handsets in India in style with some amazing promotions.
The campaign include helicopter flights, parasailing lessons and concerts and much more.
The Nokia Lumia 800 will be available SIM-free for Rs 29,999 (that’s about $570 or €435;), while the Lumia 710 will go for Rs 18,999 ($360/€275).
The two will feature Nokia Drive, the free voice-guided navigation, and Nokia Music with MixRadio, a music streaming service.
Thousands of retail stores across the country will also feature live demoes of the phones.
Nokia has traditionally been strong in the country, and still owns 30% of the market, but has been squeezed on the low end by low-cost Chinese imports and and on the high end by Android phones. With its Symbian-powered ASHA phones the company is hoping to turn the tide once again.
Thanks Etios for the tip.
