During the financial results announced today, Nokia said that it has sold ‘well over 1 million’Â Lumia Windows Phone devices to date. Despite Lumia device sales, Nokia announced a operating loss of â‚¬954 million (about $1.2 billion) for the past quarter. Smartphone devices sales dropped 31% from previous year while feature phones sales dropped only 1%. Overall devices sales were down eight percent to 113.5 million units. Location & Commerce services team largelyÂ contributed to the overall loss while mobile division generated profit. According to Nokia, they were pleased with the results and hoping for growth in the next quarter with more Lumia device launch.
