Nokia explains why it is important to recycle your old phones

Nokia takes sustainability pretty seriously, and in 2013 was ranked 9th in the world in Interbrand’s Best Global Green Brands 2013 report.

There is however no doubt they want to do better, and at the end of last year released a flagship made from recycled plastic, very likely a first.

In the above video they explain why it is important to recycle your old phones, and the large collection of valuable material, including gold, it contains.

The video posted above was in fact completely recorded on a Nokia Lumia 1020, which as usual does an amazing job.
