Nokia China Erik Bertman
Nokia has appointed Erik Bertman as its new general manger for Nokia China. Nokia has been facing a tough challenge in China in the past few years where whitebox vendor devices with Android is hurting their sales than ever before. Nokia has a huge task of appealing customers who are spread across low cost devices dominated by local OEMs to high-end devices dominated by Samsung and Apple.

For example, an Android 4.2 device with Quad-code processor, 5inch 1080p IPS display, 2GB RAM and 32GB Storage just costs around $280. By comparison, Nokia Lumia 720T running Dual core processor, 480 x 800 pixels 4.3 inches display, 512MB RAM and 8GB storage costs more than $280. I hope Erik Bertman has some great plans up his sleeves to boost Nokia sales in China!
