Nokia announce new Miracast-based screen sharing accessory

Nokia has announced a new screen mirroring accessory called the Microsoft Screen Sharing for Lumia HD-10.

The device will pair with your Micracast-enabled Windows Phone via NFC and then stream your screen wirelessly via Micracast, with an HDMI plug for your TV.  Interestingly the NFC sticker is removable, meaning tucking the device out of sight does not mean losing the NFC feature.

The accessory will retail for 79 euros ($100) which seems on the expensive side.  Miracast is only available in Nokia’s Snapdragon 800 handsets.  The device will however also work with the Surface 3.
