Nokia announce new location-based platform, partner with Groupon

Stephen Elop has announced an expansion of their location-based platform at Mobile World Congress 2012, which will see them extend the Points of Interests available in their maps 50 times.

They will be releasing apps like My Commute, which will inform users if they need to leave early to make it to work, and have announced a partnership with Groupon to deliver daily, locally relevant deals to users.

They will also be expanding their online and on-device offering with a rich experience in all locations.
