New video confirms the final design of the upcoming iPhone

Apple is set to launch the new iPhone(s) during its annual event in September and we expect to see three new iPhones this year. Apple has been quiet about the new iPhones but we have seen enough leaks to know what to expect.

If you still think that you don’t know much, think again as popular YouTuber Marques Brownlee aka, MKBHD managed to get his hands-on three realistic iPhones dummies. Since the design of the new devices is finalized way ahead of the actual launch, case manufacturers create, what’s called as a dummy phone to design cases for it in advance. MKBHD showed a couple of these dummies in his latest video and it’s pretty standard stuff.

The design of the new iPhone remains the same but the phone now has a big bump on the back with the triple camera setup. On the lower end iPhone, Apple has decided to go with just two lenses on the back. On the front, Apple iPhone 11 still has a notch that houses the front camera and the sensors for the Face ID. According to previous rumours, the new iPhones might ditch the 3D touch. Apple has still decided to go with OLED panel but it’s not a 120 Hz panel. Unfortunately, the dummies still have lighting cable so no USB Type-C for iPhone 11. The 3.5mm headphone jack is still missing.

Overall the new iPhone looks more like an incremental update rather than a major one. We still don’t know what hardware Apple is going to use in the new iPhones. That said, we don’t think that the latest hardware is going to make iPhone 11 a worthy upgrade to the iPhone 10.
