New version of fring released

fring™  is a mobile internet service & community that enables you to access & interact with your social networks on-the-go, make free calls and live chat with all your fring, Skype®, MSN® Messenger, Google Talk™, ICQ, SIP, Twitter, Yahoo!™ and AIM®* friends using your handset’s internet connection rather than costly cellular airtime minutes. A new version of Fring, version 3.24 for Windows Mobile is out, and brings useful features such as:

Auto-roam between 3G & Wi-Fi!  fring now automatically recognizes ‘friendly’ Wi-Fi network (one that you’ve previously logged onto) and auto-connects you. When you leave the zone, fring automatically connects your next call over 3G.

WLAN support! For those of you who prefer to manually prioritize your access points including setting Wi-Fi / 3G network preferences, the connection manager puts the choice and control back in your hands.

Support for more languages fring is now available in 8 languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Italian and Russian. fring automatically installs the default language on your handset unless you manually request a language from More –> settings.

Improved sound quality & chat – including new message blinking instead of interrupting a current session.
