New Verizon leak confirms the carrier passing on Windows Phone 7 launch

Verizon is not participating in the Windows Phone 7 launch

Verizon is the biggest carrier in USA, and it seems at present no friend to Windows phone 7. Another leak of the carrier’s roadmap, this time reaching till November 2010, features handsets running Android, Blackberry OS and even WebOS, but nary a mention of Windows Phone 7.

Of course just because Verizon is sitting out the expected November Windows Phone 7 launch does not mean the handsets will not eventually show up on the CDMA carrier, although the long term roadmaps leaked earlier did not show any evidence of the OS on the carrier either, but I expect many Windows Phone 7 fans will find themselves faced with the unenviable choice of moving to AT&T or joining Verizon in playing the wait and see game.
