With Windows 10 Mobile Microsoft has said they aim to nurture a healthy ecosystem of OEMs, rather than dominate it with their ex-Nokia handset business.
It seems we are finally seeing some traction with this strategy, first with the Acer Jade Primo, and now with a new handset on the way from Alcatel, according to a new leak by evLeaks.
Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL for Windows: SD210 (4×1.1GHz), W10M, LTE, 5.5″ 720P, 2GB/16GB, 8MP/2MP, 2500mAh, microSD, VoLTE, HDV. December.

The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL appears to be a mid-ranger, with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage, LTE and a large 720P screen, but unusually only has a Snapdragon 210 processor, which we associate with lower-end devices.
According to evLeaks the handset is expected in December this year.
Microsoft has not announced their plans for the lower-end of their range, but we have already seen a number of handsets announced by Blu and Acer which fills in that slot, suggesting even if Microsoft does not step up we will not be short of choice.
