New major release for Sky Wallet, the password manager integrated with SkyDrive

Sky Wallet is a premium password manager you can use to track your passwords and other sensitive data, keeping them safe with strong encryption.

The app uses SkyDrive as the cloud storage for encrypted data: you can work on your phone and your changes are synchronized on your SkyDrive, enabling you to access information from other devices and also from a Windows PC, using the free desktop companion application.

Both the phone and the PC app have a local encrypted cache, so you can also work offline and synchronize changes to SkyDrive when a connection is available.

The third major update to the phone app, Sky Wallet 3, has been released few days ago and it introduced a new user experience that boosts productivity and enables quick data access.

After logging in with your master password you get to the Sky Wallet hub, the new main page that gives you immediate access to your recent entries and lets you browse your groups and items. The group view you used on previous versions is still in the app: simply tap a group name to get there.

The new version also provides automatic synchronization and other improvements, like the new view item page and the restyled icons.

Sky Wallet is a great choice, with a lot of satisfied users worldwide.

You can give it a try downloading the trial version, which lets you test all the features because it’s only limited in the number of entries you can add (up to three).

The full version costs $3.99 (the desktop companion is free): you can try it or get it from the Marketplace and find more information here.
