Nearly 20 original Xbox games are coming to backward compatiblity in April including Morrowind, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and more

Update: The first batch of April’s original Xbox backward compatible games are now live.

Original: Inside Xbox promised news on original Xbox backward compatible games and they sure did not disappoint. Though five titles leaked earlier today before the official announcement, they weren’t the complete list. A total of 19 original Xbox games will be playable on Xbox One for the first time this month, including classics like Jade Empire, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, Star Wars: Battlefront II, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowing, and more.

Unfortunately we’ll still need to wait a couple of weeks before we can play them. These games will have a staggered release throughout the month of April, with one batch coming near the middle and one batch releasing near the end.
