muvee has announced the release of their muveeShow application onto the Windows Mobile Marketplace. Hopefully the application has seen some improvement since its release as version 1.0 two years ago.
See the press release below:
muvee, the pioneer and leader in home movie making software and services, today announced they have created and launched an application for Windows Phone called muveeShow that will allow users to make photo-movies on their mobile phones.
For US$1.99 a download, users can create a music video with their images in three steps. The application is available for use on all Windows Mobile 6.5 Smartphones.
"Windows Phone sports superior camera features, processing power and memory storage and are your personal phone, camera and music player. However, there aren’t really a lot of cool things that you can actually do with those photos you’ve shot." said Terence Swee, CEO, muvee. "Because of this, we developed muveeShow, which instantly creates a photo-movie in a few clicks with unique effects, animations and transitions, synced to your music. Select a different editing style or choose your own music, and watch the mood change. Save and share directly from your phone or upload to your favorite social networks."
muvee ‘s mashup applications have shipped with mobile devices made by LG, Samsung and Nokia. This is the first application from muvee made for Windows Marketplace. To experience muveeShow, click on Marketplace on your Windows Mobile 6.5 Phone to purchase and install.
Hopefully we will see more legacy software winding its way onto marketplace, but of course even better would be updated versions that fit today’s finger-friendly paradigms and are designed to take advantage of the web services and social networks currently available.
