muvee has announced the release of their muveeShow application onto the Windows Mobile Marketplace. Hopefully the application has seen some improvement since its release as version 1.0 two years ago.

muvee, the pioneer and leader in home movie making software and services, today announced they have created and launched an application for Windows Phone called muveeShow that will allow users to make photo-movies on their mobile phones.
For US$1.99 a download, users can create a music video with their images in three steps. The application is available for use on all Windows Mobile 6.5 Smartphones.

Hopefully we will see more legacy software winding its way onto marketplace, but of course even better would be updated versions that fit today’s finger-friendly paradigms and are designed to take advantage of the web services and social networks currently available.
