MSI introduces Wearable Virtual Reality backpack for high quality truly untethered VR

MSI has always been known for their superior gaming hardware and new innovations. Even though the company is still young, they have managed to dominate the gaming niche for quite a few years, with the only real competition beingDell’s Alienware laptops.

The company has now taken another step to preserve its dominance in the gaming niche by launching a new Virtual Reality backup. Dubbed as “VR One”, the backpack is powered by Intel i7 processors and has NVIDIA GTX 1060 and 1070 graphics card for extreme gaming performance. MSI VR One possess 16 GB DDR 4 RAM (2 x 8 GB) and comes with 256GB to 512GB storage options. The backpack comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Pro. With this extreme hardware, the MSI VR One needs a good amount of power which is supplied by 2 battery packs and it can give a play time of 1.5 hrs. Apart from this, MSI Backpack also has 4 VR HMD ports, 1 HDMI, a mini display port, along with a headphone and mic jack. It also comes with two hand controllers, the system, the utility backpack carrier, and the VR headset. You can also use it with HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift (both sold separately).  MSI VR One starts from $1,899 and goes till to $2,129.

MSI is definitely trying to establish a new era of gaming where you can carry all the power you need in a backpack and play the highest quality VR Ready games on-the-go.
