Microsoft is rumored to launch its upcoming flagships, the Cityman and Talkman. Most of the specs of the Microsoft Cityman and Talkman has been already revealed recently. For those who don’t know, these devices are supposed to be the Lumia 940 XL and Lumia 940.
Now, the folks over at the WC, was able to get some new info about the Microsoft Cityman and Talkman. The report states that the Talkman device will come with a matte White or black polycarbonate body, a 5.2 inch WQHD (1440×2560) OLED display, Windows Hello support, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (microSD card slot), 20MP PureView rear camera and a 5MP Wide-angle front facing camera. Under the hoods, there is a hexa-core Snapdragon 808. The device will also pack 3000mAh removable battery, Qi wireless charging with a flip cover and USB Type-C.
The Talkman’s bigger brother, the Cityman will also come with a Matte White or black polycarbonate body, 5.7 inch WQHD (1440×2560) OLED display, 64-bit Octa core Snapdragon 810, Windows Hello, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 20MP PureView rear camera with triple LED flash, aluminium side buttons, 5MP front facing camera, 3300 mAh removable battery, Qi wirless charging and USB Type-C.
These are the specs that have been already revealed a while ago. Nonetheless, the WC is reporting that the devices will have a Pen and Smart Cover – much like the Surface Pen and a smart cover which is reportedly reminiscent with the ASUS Zenfone 2’s smart cover. As we reported earlier, the devices will support the accessory Munchkin which passed FCC recently. Munchkin will be reportedly available for $99 and it’ll be a dock for will allow users use the Continuum feature on their Cityman or Talkman devices.
For those wondering, it isn’t yet confirmed if the devices will be known as the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL or the Lumia 940 or Lumia 940 XL – this will be “decided by September”. However, the report expects the devices to get revealed at IFA 2015. It’s worth noting that the In the Lumia 940/950 (Talkman) will be reportedly sold by AT&T only in the US. Additionally, the report also reveals that Microsoft is ending relationships with Verizon due to the partnership not being beneficial.
