Some more evidence has emerged suggesting Microsoft is dropping the Nokia brand on their Microsoft Mobile Windows phones.

A photo of a display cover from an unidentified handset with a large screen and thin bezels has been sent to French site Nowhereelse.fr sporting the the Microsoft branding in their usual font, rather than Nokia’s brand.

A recent leak appears to show Microsoft plans to phase out the Nokia brand as early as the holidays, and while we think this is a mistake, the leaked screen suggests that the first Microsoft-branded device may also be bring a new flagship for the holidays, which is of course much needed.
