We recently reported several leaks surrounding the upcoming iPhones that confirmed the design of the device as well as the triple camera setup. Now a new leak from a Japanese publication has revealed some of the important details about the upcoming iPhones.
According to a report published by Japanese blog Macotakara (via Pocket Now), Apple plans to launch two iPhones with 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch OLED displays respectively. This contradicts the previous reports which claimed that Apple will launch the new iPhones with small changes. However, according to the new report, Apple will launch iPhones with bigger displays to accommodate the triple camera setup on the back. The report also suggests that the 6.1-inch iPhone will be 0.15mm thicker than the current iPhone Xs. The bigger 6.5-inch iPhone, on the other hand, will be about 0.4mm thicker than the iPhone Xs Max.
At this point, it’s not easy to rely on reports so take these leaks with a grain of salt. That said, we don’t expect Apple to launch the new iPhones with any major feature upgrades.
