evLeaks is on a tear this morning, and has posted some more information of the rumoured Nokia Lumia 1525.
He has earlier revealed that the handset was coming to T-Mobile, and has now posted, as expected, that it will be an upgraded version of the Nokia Lumia 1520, but also revealed that the handset will feature an upgraded processor, the Snapdragon 801.
The Snapdragon 801 is the same processor as in the Galaxy S5, and it is good to see Windows Phone keep up with the joneses.
The SnapDragon 80 is slightly higher clocked than the SnapDragon 800, running at 2.3 and 2.5 Ghz vs 2.2 and 2.3 ghz.
In addition it comes with DSDA (Dual SIM Dual Active) and eMMC 5.0 (for faster access to internal storage), while in some models boasting faster CPU, GPU, ISP (image signal processor) and memory interface speeds which can result in substantial improvements in graphics performance.
In addition he also confirmed that the device will be coming to AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, which basically means all the US carriers that matter, which is great news for US consumers sick of exclusive deals.
