More Angry Bird clones? Enough already!

Popo is another game like Angry Birds, but it gives you the ability to create your own levels and publish them online. It doesn’t have a free trial, so use this review wisely!

Overall Score: 3/5

The gameplay lacks variation and complexity, and the lasting value is cut short. However, the game does add the unique aspect of a level editor. Unless you’re really excited about creating your own levels, you should wait for the actual Angry Birds to be released.

Gameplay: 3/5

Even though hundreds of great levels could be created by the users of this game, the fact is that the included levels are pretty boring and not challenging. The expert difficulty levels feel just as easy (or sometimes easier) than the easy difficulty. However, the controls work pretty well, and the level editor is a fun addition that can make the game more exciting.

Presentation: 3/5

The visuals look very polished, but the menu system can be confusing. Also, the sound effects and music are very minimal, which isn’t exciting.

Lasting Value: 3/5

Completing all of the included levels takes under two hours, which is very short. You can go on to build your own levels or even play other user-created levels, but without a better menu system, finding new levels is confusing.
