Amazingly enough, Sony’s E3 conference included one announcement that even Xbox fans might want to care about. Monster Hunter: World was announced, and it’s the first entry in the franchise to be made for consoles in years. It’s also headed to the Xbox One, a first for the franchise. You can check out its official unveiling below.
Monster Hunter World will come out for the Xbox One at some point in early 2018 and while a PC version is currently in the works as well, it won’t be coming at the same time as the other releases.

The Monster Hunter franchise is a long running series of games dedicated to just that – monster hunting. Each game has gotten larger and more outrageous with every entry, and now that the leap has been made from handhelds to consoles again it’ll be interesting to see what the team does with all of the power they have at their disposal – especially if the game ends up being enhanced for the Xbox One X.
