Minecraft surges past 100 million copies in sales worldwide

Mojang today announced that Minecraft sales has now crossed 100 million milestone. Since the beginning of 2016, Minecraft has averaged over 53,000 copies sold per day. Microsoft also highlighted that Minecraft community people are from most of the countries around the world including Antartica where they sold 4 copies. With this milestone, Minecraft is now the second best-selling single game of all time behind Tetris.
