Minecraft Realms, Minecraft’s monthly subscription service that allowed up to 11 players play together on their own private Minecraft server, has officially been made defunct. Instead, there’s now Realms Plus!

Realms Plus essentially functions exactly the same as Minecraft Realms except with a few added bonuses for the same price.

You’ll still get your own private Minecraft server, plus you’ll get over fifty pieces of Minecraft Marketplace content, including adventures, skin packs, worlds, mini-games, and more.

All subscribers to Minecraft Realms will automatically be upgraded to Realms Plus for free. If you want to try out Realms Plus, you can get your first month for free.
