Microsoft working on extending Windows 10 Technical Preview to non-Lumia Windows Phone

Microsoft has recently announced that the number of devices included in the Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview will greatly expanded, but the number of devices covered still only included Lumia handsets, to the great disappointment of buyers of recent non-Lumia flagships like the HTC One for Windows.

WindowsBlogItalia however reports that this situation is set to improve, with Microsoft’s Gabe Aul saying:

@3HCDirectorofIT We’re working on other devices as well, but don’t have news to share yet.

Lumias make up nearly 97% of all Windows Phones, but this still leaves (I estimate) around 2 million Windows Phone users, some of who I am sure will now be much cheered.
