Microsoft won’t be releasing any new Windows 10 Insider previews this week

This week, Microsoft won’t be releasing any new builds of Windows 10 to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. The company has been releasing quite a lot of Insider previews to Windows Insiders lately, but Insiders won’t be getting a new preview this week due to a blocking bug. The bug actually might result in Windows Insiders not being able to open up the Feedback Hub app in Windows 10, which means they won’t be able to send feedback and bug reports to Microsoft. As a result, the company isn’t releasing any builds:

“As builds rolled through our internal Canary and Selfhost rings this week, we discovered a bug that could potentially impact the ability to open Feedback Hub for Windows Insiders. Because this would impact the ability for Insiders to send in feedback, the bug is marked as flight blocking. We’re expecting to have the fix for this bug checked into builds by the end of this week. Because of this, there will be no new builds released to Windows Insiders this week.”

Microsoft is set to release the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on October 17, and the software maker will continue releasing new builds quite frequently to Windows Insiders from next week. The company has already started testing the next major update for Windows 10 with a group of Windows Insiders, but that’s only getting started at this point.
