Microsoft: Windows Store reached more than 3 billion visits since the Windows 10 launch


Today, Microsoft released a new report for the Windows Store Trends. The company revealed some interesting info about the Windows Store’s stats in today’s report. According to Microsoft, more than 3 billion visits have been made to the Windows Store since the launch of Windows 10. Back in December, the company announced that the Store reached 2.5 billion visits the Windows 10 launch, meaning that more than 500 million visits have been made to the Store since December.

Moving on, the company also shared the amount of app downloads per category across all Windows devices. According to the report, Games are the most popular items on the Store with more than 30% downloads, followed by Utilities & Tools with 15% and Photo & Video with roughly 8% of downloads:


Microsoft stated that several regions/languages had an increased downloads in the last quarter, including Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, and Italian.
