Microsoft has updated their Outlook Mail and calendar app in the Windows store, bumping it up to version 17.6403.42002.0.

Here’s what Microsoft has cumulatively added in previous updates:

  • Moved the mail accounts list to the top of the folder pane for easier account switching
  • Number of unread emails is now shown next to each account
  • Added a dark theme and personalisation settings to set accent colour and background image
  • Added support for additional calendar types
  • Added week numbers to calendar week and day views
  • Added right-click menu quick actions for calendar events
  • Made several performance improvements
  • Fixed top crashes and other bugs
  • Added an option to disable grouping messages by conversation

We assume this update is just another performance update to steady and already good app.

Skype also got an update in the Windows store. Still awful.
