While Windows Insiders await a new build of Windows 10 this week, Microsoft’s new independent app strategy means that refinements cam be pushed out to the already present apps without an OS update needed. Today, we have updates from the Camera, Calculator and Voice recorder apps from the Store Beta app.

No change log, however Nokiapoweruser has spotted some changes in the apps, specifically the camera app. You now have the ability to choose where videos and photos can be saved from the app settings UI, it is not fully functional yet but we imagine it will simply link to the revamped Windows 10 storage sense app when it is completed.

Aside from that, there were no other immediate changes in any of the three apps besides the bug fixes and performance improvements. Have you gotten this update. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
