Microsoft Unlocks New Features In The Free Version Of OneNote 2013 Desktop App

OneNote

Microsoft last year released a free version of OneNote desktop app for Windows users. With yesterday’s update, Microsoft has unlocked some more new features which were previously locked-in for paid version of OneNote.

This latest update to the OneNote 2013 desktop software (Version 15.0.4693.1001) adds the following list of features that you can now use in the free desktop download:

– Password protected sections
– Page history
– Audio recordings
– Video recordings
– Audio search
– Embedded files

One main difference between free and paid version is that, you cannot store your notes locally in the free version, OneDrive will be the only option for you.
