Microsoft Translator announces support for six Austronesian languages

Microsoft-Translator

Microsoft Translator has added support for six Austronesian languages in its core text translation API: Fijian, Filipino, Malagasy, Samoan, Tahitian and Tongan. Austronesian languages are spoken as far west as Madagascar and as far east as the Polynesian Islands; south to New Zealand and north to South China. These 6 Austronesian languages will help approximately 119 million Austronesian speakers across the globe in communication.

Microsoft also highlighted that these Austronesian languages will also be available as an instant messaging language in Skype (both the Skype Windows desktop app and Skype Preview for Windows 10).
