Microsoft recently showed off the Surface 3 and it’s yet to be available for purchase (currently available for pre-orders). However, according to SlashGear, Microsoft will reveal the Surface Pro 4 in mid-May. Although we can’t confirm if Microsoft is indeed going to launch the Pro 4 this month, there’s a good chance as the Pro 3 is almost one-year-old. As usual, there hasn’t been much leaks and reports on the Pro 4, but a recent report revealed the supposed specs of the Pro 4 prototype:
- To pack Intel 5th gen Broadwell processor
- Fanless design, but body heat is similar to the Surface Pro 3
- No significant design changes from the Surface Pro 3
- Resolution of the Pro 4’s display is the same as the Pro 3 (2160×1440 pixels, 216ppi)
- Features thinner design than the Pro 3
- Prototype device reportedly features the same screen size as the Pro 3 (12?)
