Microsoft to reportedly bring Surface devices to India

According to a new report from The Times of India, Microsoft is bringing the Surface devices to India. Vineet Durani, the Director of the Windows Business Group at Microsoft India stated that the company is looking into bringing Surface devices to India after receiving feedback from its customers. Unfortunately, Vineet didn’t reveal much info about the company’s plans.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if Microsoft brings the Surface devices to India once the Surface Pro 4 launches. The company recently increased its Surface partners from hundreds to thousands globally. Vineet also revealed how the company thinks how Surface is the perfect device to showcase Windows 10 – here’s his statement:

We feel there’s a market in India for all devices including high-end convertibles and the Surface is the perfect device to showcase Windows 10, which adapts to 2-in-1s easily with seamless switching between PC and tablet UIs.

If you live in India, expect to see Surface devices in your country sometime soon. Also, don’t forget to discuss if you’re planning to buy a Surface Pro 3 or wait for the Pro 4 in the comments section below!
