Microsoft already supports apps for Outlook, but it is supported only in Office 365 for enterprise customers. Outlook.com, the consumer email service didn’t have support for apps. Yesterday, Microsoft revealed the Build developer conference sessions and one of the session is titled “Build an Add-in for Outlook.com, Outlook and Office 365 that Reaches Over 400 Million Users”. This confirms that Microsoft is bringing apps support to Outlook.com as well.
