Whenever we mention a new feature in Cortana we are met by a chorus of users complaining that the digital assistant and all her features are not yet available in their region.
One such region is Brazil, the 3rd largest market for Windows Phones, but it seems that might change soon.
Brazilian site WindowsTeam.com.br reports from their sources that Microsoft is now testing Cortana internally in Portuguese. They do not know when this will result in an actual released product, but we hope it will not be long.
A leaked document from way back in January 2015 suggested Microsoft was working on Cortana for Russian, Arabic and Hindi for release with Windows 10, but we know so far they have not delivered.
It may be that the next major delivery date will be Redstone, due some time in the summer, which will hopefully expand the digital assistant to many more regions.
