Microsoft has just released new ways for you to review meetings engagement on Microsoft Teams, and it’s super convenient.

As announced this week, Microsoft Teams Public Preview and Microsoft 365 Targeted Release users with a Teams Premium license can now access and review these pieces of information.

“Engagement information is particularly helpful to gauge interest in the topic covered as well as the suitability of the meeting format and structure,” says Microsoft in the announcement.

Meeting engagements are activities that attendees perform during a meeting to show their interest and participation. Examples of meeting engagements include reactions, raised hands, unmutes, and cameras on.

Curious to take this feature out for a spin? Well, select a meeting you organized in the Chat pane and click the Attendance tab.

Then, click the Engagement tab to view more detailed information about how attendees interacted with the meeting.

To use this feature, you need to be members of the Teams Public Preview or Microsoft 365 Targeted Release, have a Teams Premium license, and use the Teams client on the web (Edge, Chrome). Windows and macOS Teams client support will be enabled soon.
