Microsoft talks about TeamViewer Integration for Windows PCs running the Intune client

Microsoft today highlighted the release of the Xamarin component for Intune App SDK and TeamViewer integration for remote assistance.

The Intune App SDK Xamarin component allows developers to easily enable Intune mobile app management features in their mobile iOS and Android apps built with Xamarin. You can find the component in theXamarin store or on the Microsoft Intune Github page.

Last month, Microsoft announced the new TeamViewer integration that delivers a remote assistance solution for Intune agent-managed Windows PCs. TeamViewer integration for Windows PCs that run the Intune client lets you establish remote assistance sessions with Windows PCs to help support end-user helpdesk departments. This includes Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and Windows 10.

We’ve introduced a TeamViewer Connector within the Intune admin console that allows you to register your company’s TeamViewer account with Intune. Once you’ve done this, your end users can use the Intune Center on their PCs to request remote assistance, and they’ll receive help from your help desk through a TeamViewer connection. All of the TeamViewer features are available to use during your remote session including chat, remote restart, video, screen annotation, file transfer, and more.
