Microsoft’s Surface Go tablet comes with a number of familiar Surface features such as a full friction kickstand,  microSD card slot, optically-bonded Pixel Sense display, Windows Hello camera, magnesium body, etc. In addition to all these, Microsoft has included a new interesting feature to the Surface Go.

The Surface Go comes with a near field sensor which can be used to read RFID tags to track inventory or even to launch specific applications for an appliance-like experience. This can also enable interesting scenarios in the education environment. Imagine students exploring a museum with Surface Go in their hands, they can tap their device to various items on display to get more interactive information.
