In a video published by Windows Dev Docs  Laura Buttler, a Microsoft vice president, revealed some secrets about high profile cancelled Windows Phones.

She revealed that the Nokia McLaren would have had a camera even better than the famed Nokia Lumia 1020, and that the 3D Touch feature would have resulted in an amazing keyboard, as the keyboard would have been able to sense the direction your fingers were approaching from. She also speaks about the pre-touch feature as a way to preview the content of emails, for example, a feature copied by Apple with 3D Touch.

She also revealed that Microsoft was working on a successor to the Lumia 1520 that would have supported landscape mode, and would have worked well with a Bluetooth keyboard, allowing the device to be used like a mini-PC.
