Following the release of Visual Studio 2017 Preview from last week, Microsoft is releasing a new SDK in preview for Windows 10 developers. The software giant today released Windows 10 SDK Preview Build 14965 with updated debugging tools and more. The new SDK introduces a handful of new APIs and removes one API. Additionally, it also brings JavaScript scripting and some other new debugging tool:

  • This Windows SDK includes updates and additions to the Windows namespace.
  • Debugging Tools for Windows has been updated with a few new features, including JavaScript scripting and extensibility.

As you may have already guessed, the latest preview SDK of Windows 10 requires Visual Studio 2017 preview, which you can download here. After that, you can download the latest SDK from here. Keep in mind that you can’t release apps build with the preview SDK to consumers via the Windows Store.

If you are interested, you can find the full list of new APIs introduced with the latest preview SDK here.
