Microsoft today released a full preview of Visual Studio “14.” This release includes a new Visual Studio Emulator for Android and support for building Android applications using C++ based off of Clang and LLVM. You can get the entire list of feature and enhancement from Visual Studio 2015 Preview release notes. When choosing one of those Android development options, Visual Studio will also install the brand new Visual Studio Emulator for Android to use as a target for debugging your app. Visual Studio 2015 adds support for cross-platform mobile development using C++ leveraging the open source Clang and LLVM toolchain, enabling you to share, reuse, build, deploy, and debug libraries for other operating systems in VS.

  4. Support for debugging lambda expressions with Visual Studio 2015
  5. Developer can filter link types on Code Map

  7. CodeLens in Visual Studio Online enabled as a Limited CTP
  8. DevOps Deployment templates
  9. Smart Unit Tests
  10. Browser based Test Case Management
  11. Performance Metrics Explorer in Application Insights
  12. Release Management now supports Visual Studio Online
  13. Browser based authoring for Cloud-based Load Testing
