Kyle Blietz is using MoCap to revolutionize the world of 3D Game Development.
The team at Motus Digital aims to create the world’s largest Character Animation Library for Independent Game Developers. They use Windows to record, render, and edit everything they produce to ensure high-quaity MoCap assets at an affordable price – making it possible for Indie Developers to compete with multi-million dollar studios.
Taylor, Lorig and Mariss: Farmshare
The team at Farmshare Austin is dedicated to providing the next generation of farmers with the proper education and techniques to responsibly run a sustainable farm.
Taylor, Lorig and Marissa use Windows to create lesson plans for their pilot program Farmer Starter which focuses on sustainable and organic growing methods through hands on training as well as practical business skills. The other primary focus at Farmshare is food access and the distribution of organic produce to people with financial barriers.
Matthew Reich: City Harvest
Matthew Reich takes a healthy stand against hunger in New York City.
City Harvest is making 50 million pounds of food available to families facing hunger throughout New York City. They rescue fresh fruits and vegetables that would otherwise be wasted and redistribute them to over 500 emergency food programs – Matthew uses Windows to help them streamline the process.
Carlo Santos: Gamer
True Gamers never quit and Carlo Santos has found a way to stay in the game at all times.
Fueled by competition and staying connected to friends, Carlo has found the perfect device for either occasion. He can start a game on his phone and finish it on his PC, or he can set things up on his Xbox and Skype with his girlfriend at the same time. Windows allows him to have the best of both worlds.
Mikaila Ulmer: BeeSweet
Since the age of 4, Mikaila Ulmer has been working hard to help save honeybees.
What began as a project for a children’s business competition is now BeeSweet Lemonade – a family-owned business dedicated to helping save the honeybees. Mikaila uses Windows to conduct research and build presentations that educate others about what BeeSweet is doing to save the bees and their importance to our ecosystem.
