Microsoft today released a new optimized version of Skype for Android devices running 4.0.3 to 5.1. According to Microsoft, this update will run better on lower-end Android devices as the updated app will consume less device storage and RAM memory. Improved performance will make Skype audio and video quality better even in poor network scenarios.
