Microsoft releases new firmware for Surface Pro 3 that improves system stability and performance

Microsoft yesterday released a new firmware update for Surface Pro 3 devices. This update for Surface Pro Embedded Controller Firmware improves system stability and performance when you change between power states. It will appear in the following name in Windows Update History page.

  • Surface – Firmware – 38.12.70.0

You can also manually update the firmware by downloading it from the Surface Pro 3 Drivers and Firmware Page.
