Microsoft is taking a much more proactive approach than we have seen in the past in making sure all Windows Phones have a chance to be updated properly. Previously Microsoft has suggested users take problematic devices back to the carriers, but the software giant has now released a desktop tool to fix the two most common problems (besides of course just not being offered the update at all).
The errors addressed are:
- 800705B4: The timer ran out on what we were trying to do.
- 80180080: We couldn’t update your phone because your operating system might be corrupt.
