Microsoft reduces price of general purpose virtual machines on Azure

Microsoft is starting the week with a good news for Azure customers. Microsoft is reducing the price of general purpose virtual machines on Azure. Specifically, they are reducing prices of Dv2 Promo Virtual Machines to provide customers with the cost savings of their upcoming hyper-threaded Dv3 VMs prior to their launch. Prices of Dv2 Promo VMs will be lower by up to 7% for Linux VMs and by up to 5% of Windows VMs.
