Recently, Microsoft announced its Bug Bash week ahead of the release of Windows 10 Anniversary Update. During the Bug Bash week, the company received a tonne of feedback (375,000 to be exact) from Windows Insiders which helped the company to fix a handful of bugs in the operating systems. Today, the company posted some stats from the Bug Bash in the Feedback Hub.
According to Microsoft, the company published 89 Quests during the Bug Bash week, and the top Quests among Insiders were:
- Windows Update – Your settings and personalization
- Alarms and Clock
- Windows Personalization
- Try Changing Windows Display Language
- Windows Store – Basic Scenario
The company states that it was planning to run the Bug Bash for only 4 days — however, after seeing the huge response from Insiders, they extended it. As for the top countries that participated in the Bug Bash, United States came in the top, followed by UK, Brazil, Germany, and India. The top 5 countries that received most upvotes are: US, Germany, UK, Brazil and Russia.
As Microsoft stated, the company has fixed a number of issues during the Bug Bash week, and they will be delivering these new fixes to Insiders sometime very soon (probably next week).
