Every year, brand valuation and strategy consultancy Brand Finance puts thousands of the world’s top brands to the test. They are evaluated to determine which are the most powerful, and the most valuable. In the Brand Finance Global 500 report released today, Microsoft was ranked No.4 in the list, retaining its last year’s position. Google, Samsung and Apple are ahead of Microsoft in the list. Microsoft’s brand value grew in single digits year over year. With new consumer apps for other platforms and revolutionary products like HoloLens, Microsoft’s brand will see a nice jump this year.
