Microsoft today reported its Q1 FY21 earnings results with operating profits up a massive 25%

Surface Revenue was part of this push, with sales up 37% (up 36%in constant currency)

This means Surface sales increased from $1.136 billion to $1.553 billion Year on Year.

Microsoft says a big reason for the boost was new devices being launched in the last quarter, rather than the usual fall launch.

There is however a general increase in the sale of Windows PCs, which also benefitted the Surface line.
