Microsoft promoting KIN in US teen show

We have heard rumours of disappointing KIN sales, but this does not mean Microsoft has stopped trying to sell their own-branded handsets. 

The above clip, via Engagdet, shows a brief excerpt from ABC’s Pretty Little Liars, in which Microsoft clearly purchased some product placement.

While Engadget takes an outraged tone, I think the above is actually a pretty good ad for the handset, showing the target demographic for the handset and actually showing the device and user interface in action.

Good work Microsoft!
